International Catalina 30 Association (IC30A)
New York State
United States of America
The International Catalina 30 Association (IC30A) is a non-profit volunteer organization recently celebrating its 30th anniversary. IC30A was established in 1974, for the one-design Catalina 30 masthead sloop designed by Frank Butler and is manufactured by Catalina Yachts of Woodland Hills, CA.
The association is dedicated to quality boating and lifetime enjoyment for its members and to maintaining value through one-design standards and specifications for the Catalina 30 yacht. The membership activities are predominately cruising, and we are technically minded and maintenance oriented.
The association promotes safe boating, seamanship, good fellowship, enjoyment and enhancement of the Catalina 30 yacht through cruising, racing and social events on local, regional, national and international levels. We sanction regional, inshore and offshore racing of the C30 in one-design and handicap regattas.
The IC30A is the largest world-wide yacht owners association with over 44 regional fleets and members throughout the United States, Canada, Europe, Japan and Australia.
This is the website for Fleet 3 of the IC30. The purpose of this fleet is to promote the local socialization, cruising, racing, technique and technical knowledge transfer for Catalina 30 owners on the Long Island Sound and boat owners docking or moored along the North Shore of Long Island.
The members are associated with numerous marinas, yacht clubs, and sailing associations throughout the area but share a comradeship and common interest in everything Catalina 30.
